Chris,

Try feeding full air to the top of the external and no air to the bottom. It also sounds like you need to back off on the top charger just a little. What was total boost on the dyno?

Nathan, I've got full air to the top of the external (from the cold pipe). Made about 72lbs total on the dyno.

Sounds like the top gate is a bit too tight if your only getting 27psi from it. You should be around 36psi.I'd back it off 1 1/2 to 2 full turns and see what it does. What are the splits like on the street?

Turbos are HTT, 64/13 stainless and S480. According to the dyno software, 75mph - 125mph happened in 2.1 seconds, and in that short time the 480 only got to 26lbs of boost. If i could load it harder, or find a better setting with the wastegates I am confident there is fuel for a little more. I am seeing about 38lbs from the 480 on the street.
I was gonna ask u that but figured you didnt want to post what you had done

Nathan, on the street I get about 70 lbs total with about 38 or so from the 480. I think i need a stiffer spring for the 64, and then i can back off the external some if i need to later.

I cranked the 64 wastegate tight on the dyno, but the 480 just didn't come alive all the way.

Still workin on it...

I don't have any secret stuff on my truck. I'll share whatever info you're looking for.

Nice work!

I think there is more there!
You should be able to get very close to 900.

Congratulations!

How do you like your Ultimate?

With a single charger??? Or did you mean over an S480?

On a dynojet???

I agree with you though, i think another 30-50 is available if i can get it tuned just right.

Yes over a S480 with race cover. Nope it was on a Dynamic Dyno (load cell). We got alot of power out of adj. wastegates. It just needs some time on the dyno as we ran out as we blew a hp line and fitting so we got 2 dyno runs.

Chris nice numbers. Did you have the tst on the truck? On Dunbars dyno adding the tst the way I told you added 12lbs of boost on the 480. My 480 on just a smarty would do about 27lbs add the tst and it will almost hit 40. Tim
