Has anyone put any thought into using the stock 04.5 turbo in a set of twins, lets say with an ht3b.

I know the original gen 3 hy turbo was considered to small, but how about the larger 04.5?

Also does anyone have compressor maps for the ht3b and the 04.5 turbo?

If I'm correct, the 04.5 not ony uses the same size hy as previous years, but it also has an electronic wastegate on it which would be interesting to say the least to adapt it to a set of twins.

I think the 04.5 is the same size HY but with a larger compressor housing with the electronic wastegate.

Yes, the compressor wheel on the 04.5 turbo is essentially HX40 in size. The turbine section is same as the older 03 and 04 turbos.

I dont know who has used the 04.5 turbo as the secondary charger , but in guessing only...its seems like a good match with a HT3B or the B-2.

The restrictive exhaust side on the 04.5 turbo is a problem that will need some adress.

Would you be concerned that drive pressures would be to high with the smaller exhaust housing if not properly wastegated?
