Question twins help in boise idaho area

Ok,
So my brother called me today and told me that he got spanked by a dmax (although the dmax got the jump on him pretty bad) and needless to say little bro is MAD . He wants to know what twins set up to run and I would like to know if there is anyone in the Boise ID area that can help him out for me since I am stuck in New Mexico. He has an 07 QC 3500 long bed 4x4 with 6sp manual tranny. He has all sorts of toys on it so far ie.. buckstop front and rears with warn 16.5 ti winch, rhino lined bed and rockers, leveling kit, tires, intake. I wished I was closer to him (geographically) to help him myself but I can't right now. oh, he does tow pretty heavy now and then so I was thinking a tow set of twins.

If there is anyone in that area that can help him, I would be grateful for the support. But keep in mind you can't get him too fast because I can't have him kicking my butt when I go and visit!! LOL!! I plan on twins too and many others.

Thanks Shane,
I sent Nate a PM. I just don't want my brother getting too fast!! Can't have that happen to me! That would really make me mad and have to just spend more money!

I don't think any manual trans diesel will beat a d-max even if your bro has twins...... if Dmaxs had manual trans then it would be a better race.
but it is a great excuse to get TWINS

I sure do wished I were back home! Seeing all you Idaho boys on here is nice though. Once my kids are graduated from school, the house will be sold, uhaul packed (if everything but tools are already sold) and will be heading back up there. I will be up there for christmas this year so when I pass thru twin, maybe we could meet up at the truck stop unless you are in McCall snowmobiling!! LOL!

Sounds like a heavy truck plus rowing the gears,it's going to be tough to beat the Dmax I imagine.

What does he have for fuel? Box's, programmers, injectors, anything of that nature? Its gonna take more than just bolting on a set of twins to make the truck faster, he better make sure he's got the fuel to spool em. Im sure you know though.

Boz,
All he has for any sort of engine mods is the cold air. I am the wrench of the family although he gets around pretty good but hard to be around when things go wrong with all the language that is created when he is mad. I would like to point him to the right person to get him fixed up with fuel, injectors, twins, studs ect...

He definately needs some fuel before throwing twins at it. The stock turbo's are fairly efficient in these trucks. My truck with the Smarty on 9, 5" exhaust and dual disc clutch put down 468hp and 923lbs ft of torque. Pretty respectable numbers and im running the stock turbo. I run this everyday and the EGT's are very managable. They only get high if im racing someone and then its only for a short time. Stack another box with it, with some 50-100hp injectors and you'll have plenty to spool some twins. And make sure to get an upgraded fuel system like the one from Glacier Diesel or a FASS.
