twin airdog 150s???
After getting some really helpful advice I have decided to run twin 150s instead of a mitusa. i want the mitusa really bad but it is hard to get and my truck needs get finished up. So Im going with Hellmanns sump and from there I will T off the sump and run the pumps parallel (crossed over to equalize the pressure). I figure this to be a better idea since I already have a 150. My question is, is if i should buy two of these- http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...pf_id=0307TCP3 , one for each pump . I was wondering if this is needed or do the pumps come with these big line kits aleady??? if they dont do you guys think i would benefit from the larger lines?? If it all works out correctly does this mean I will have 300gph of flow??? ohhhh and with the twin cp3s do i need to get the high pressure 30psi airdog or just the standard??

The link posted above is 3/8" fittings and hoses, while the AirDog150 uses 1/2". Are you keeping the stock fuel filter setup? If so, that is going to be your bottleneck since the orifices for those are smaller than 1/2". Look into the GDP fuel filter delete. Hellman makes ones as well. If you order another AirDog150, you'll get a bunch of fittings, so that should pretty much cover everything you need, but you'll need that tee out of the sump and then any additional fittings. Robert from Glacier is great to deal with! I'd give him a ring and let him know what you're doing (make a list of fittings you'll need to/from, etc.) and ask him to piece together the extra fittings/hose separately. Are you running a separate line to each cp3?
It's arguable how much fuel pressure is needed to supply the cp3. I would believe that with dual fuel pumps, you would only need the regular (non 30psi) pumps. It would be great if they were adjustable! Or you could get the higher output ones and then have a regulator on the lines to regulate flow.

I know a few people have tried dual fuel pumps, but I've only read of people using the dual Walbro pumps (because that's what was working at the time). I know Rob (O.T, onetun) tried dual Walbro's then moved on to an AirDog150 then on to a Mitusa. I had heard AirDog was supposed to come out with a pump bigger than the 150, but haven't heard anything for awhile.
Here's a few links I had saved on dual Walbro setups,
Sample 1
Sample 2
These are obviously different since you won't be using drawstraws and are using different pumps, but figured I'd throw them out for ya.

two airdog 150s should out perform the Mitusa gusher i would think and plus its about 250 bucks less in my case just to buy another 150 instead of a gusher
My truck is in texas at Hot Rod Diesels right now so I cant remember off the top of my head which d-max cp3 pump i am running on the top. the kit is PPEs first few that came out. I think I have had it for over 2yrs now, any ideas on what model pump it may be. the reason i ask is so that i can let Wicked diesels send me an arson3 for the cummins pump and w/e he uses to equally modify the d-max pump.Any ideas fellas???

you could run one sump then y it to the airdogs with no worrys but I would run one line to each cp3 no point in ''y''ing the line 2 times. perrty much wasn't happy seeing the fuel pressure drop as much as it was at wot, but now I'm going to be running alot of fuel and big turbos once my motor done getting a make over.
