real four inch down pipe
Looks like 03 owners with the 3.5 " turbo outlet will now have a four inch option. I saw the propto type at MBRP today. Looks like it is part of the down pipe. I will have mine very soon. I will take a cruise down the highway noting the egt, ambient temp to see if there is any temp drop after I get the elbow.

This sounds great, but what did you see? Was it a 4" throughout cast elbow or was it a downpipe similar to Banks? Any other info - cost, material, etc.?

The part that I saw attached to the turbo, look like there was a collar for the band clamp, had a hanger rod. The whole pipe was about 3 feet long.

Thanks for the info. So it sounds like it is similar to the Banks pipe, now if the pipe is a reasonable price, I may have to buy one.
