turbo lubrication
I would like to crank the engine to build oil pressure to lube the turbo before she fires off.
Whats the easiest way ?
The first thing that comes to mind is to crack an injector line to keep it from starting. Is there an easier way?
thanks,doug

when installing a new turbo you should pour oil directly into the oil inlet of the turbo ...... if you didn't do that you should be able to take the line off the top of the turbo and pour oil in there.

I'm installing a new turbo today, actually, I'm finishing the turbo install this morning. I have already changed the trucks oil as well. The last thing I will do before startup is load the turbo with oil. Before I put it in yesterday, I filled it with oil and spun it a few times. They usually come with an assembly oil/lube of some kind in them.
