Turbo drain plug?
How does it come out?
Im trying to install a sps 62/14, and cant reach drain bolts when its in position. Ive read that its easier to bolt the drain to the turbo first, then lower it back in, but I cant get the !!!!ing drain off the block. Whats the trick?

the drain pipe is held in place with an o ring. just very gently wiggle and pull, it will come out suddenly enough to bash your knuckles. did you pull your wheel well liner out? makes it much easier.
install the drain on the turbo before you put the turbo in. i went through the same thing when i installed my 62/14

I can get it to move/rotate, but I was pulling on it as hard as possible. Im not quite the size of Hogan, but still
Yes I got the liner out, did most of the unbolting from the wheel well,
If the wastegate was positioned a little different, that turbo would fall in to place, wouldnt have to unbolt the manifold at all, and still be able to reach the drain line bolts

That's it just pull. It's in there pretty good so if it's not coming keep pulling.
P.S. go ahead and punch the frame rail your going to anyway when it finally comes out so you better get the swearing out of the way.

Got her, I kind of pushed in, twisted and pulled at the same time
But before that, when i tried to bolt up the drain in place, I broke the flange on the drain line,
Picking up a new drain tube in the am at the dealer for $200, this turbo install just keeps on getting better
