I had that problem on my 01. Piers told me to yank the silencer ring out of the turbo and that would help it. It sure did. Now it is maybe an occassional flutter instead of good bark every shift. Not sure if you have a slinecer ring or not but if so might be worth yanking.

Sure does! When the T/C locks up at 50 mph at the same time shifting into
4th its violent! However when it locks up at around 60 mph it feels nice and smooth. Makes me wish I had the money for the Billet Input.
