Lightbulb turbo actuator rod

Hey all, I figured its time to put alil more boost in my truck. I broke the twin disc in and got the head studs and jus kinda want more then 40psi of boost. I put a post on here before bout turning it up and that info helped alot but didnt help the boost. I called II and talked to Brandon and he said the super phat 6280 is good to lower to mid 60's. He said to close off the lil screw at the elbow. I told him i did that. He also said to to shortn the acuator rod. I asked if that was possible while it was still in the truck. He said yes but not easily. I was wondering if there was a tips or suggestion? I looked at it for a bit today before work today and I just dont really see how its done. Another thing is, do you have to disconnect 1 end to do this or is it like a turnbuckle? Any help would be great thanx

So I'm taken this as there is no easy way of shorting the rod while its in the truck. That or everyone was smart and did it before they put it in So maybe its time to take it back out??
