JerryWoodie, I have a 2005 3500 crew cab 4x4 as well.. I pull 10 to 12,000 pounds at times, and wanted a good all around single.. I chose an Industrial injection Phat Shaft 62-14. It pulls well with the triple dog on tow or stock, and it ran a 13.04 at 103 mph in the quarter in crazy mode. It also ran an 8.2 in the eighth mile. I was very happy with it.. I have a full HTS trans with suncoast converter, 90 hp Dynomite Diesel injectors, and the Crazy Larry program. It weighs in at 8,040 pounds with me in it..

nice #s morse. A 66 is a big turbo with very high boost #s. a 62 would be better for towing and a good top turbo for twins.

That's why I chose the 62-14. I had to focus more on towing ability than performance. It just happened to work out well for performance as well.. I'm really happy it can turn those numbers being so heavy, and still pull great.

Same here. The 62/14 has been a great turbo and tows very well. It runs hotter cruising unloaded when boost is low but as soon as boost builds it cools right off. I would highly recommend it.
