Tuff Country Lift

Anyone have a 4.5" tuff country lift, and is it any good.

Yes...and yes. Put good shocks on it...Bilsteen 5100's or better and install or get it installed correctly, and align it properly...especially the caster and you will have a positive experience.

Some people rip on them...but there is no reason. Short steel spacers, quality fabrication, reusing OEM sprinmgs that are the right rate anyways, and a discount price should only make people happy. LOL

I have 200k between (2) 3rd gens and 180k on an old Ford running their lifts...and have never had a complaint.

However...I have fixed several buddies lifts...when they or an installer did something wrong. Track bar bolts too loose, wrong caster, skipped the sway bar mount relocation, etc. They wer NOT performing like they should.

I also have a tuffcountry but don't use there shocks I have Donahoe's, I have been in alot of truck with big doller lifts and they don't ride much better if at all and most of them pop when turning and such, mine dosent do any of thet. And yes the install is very important mine is all welded.

Bolted and welded here too! I have run them not welded before...and did not have a problem...but the MIG was sitting 5 feet away during the last install!
