I would think you clutch is prolly aftermarket but you may need an FE or DD to stand up to the BD and TST.

When I say 4/5 I am saying the Torque first, HP second. So, I was 5/4 today (5 HP 4 TE) on teh Standard Program, and then I went and ran it on TT03 Program . That in itself, just swapping Programs was CRAZY in the difference. I kept everything else the same (5/4, rail pressure, etc...) and boy I got some SMOKE, and then she started moving, and THEN the clutch started to slip. Boy this is fun!!!

Yep, that setting RIPS as well. I then put it on tt03 and tt05. Man I am having too much fun. Clutch starts to go away in high gear on those settings, good to go in 2nd, 3rd, 4th starts to slip a little, and 5th and 6th have to pedal the throttle to get the clutch to hold.

I backed it down to 5/2 timing at 15*, RP @ Level 2 and standard program, and seems to have found what my clutch will hold, and still haul the mail. It runs REAL smooth on those settings and very little smoke when it is on the standard program.

When I bumped it too the tt03, got some smoke, power was more "peaky", and clutch had a hard time holding high gear.

On 5/2, 15* timing, RP level 2, and standard program looks like all my clutch will hold, BUT, the good thing is, at those setttings, it makes ALOT more power than my BDPP set on Extreme (130HP) I can tell you that.

If you do the math according to TST Power 1 is worth 35HP, and each level after that is 20HP, so I should be seeing 115HP on level 5.

Either TST is WAY conservative with their power numbers, or my BDPP was not making the 130 it should have.

My CTD is ROLLING now boys

I bet tst is a little conservative and bd may be a little optimistic.

I cant wait to get my clutch in so I can finally turn my tst up, well some anyway, still got to take it a little easy cause of my turbo.

I see you have an 03, it SEEMED, before my clutch went south in a hurry, that tt05 was the most pleasant to drive on my truck as far as it would get up and go but wasnt as violent as tt03

Yep, same here, tt05 is smoother than tt03. tt03 comes on real quick, and tt05 comes on real gradual.

I would also agree with your assessment after having both downloaded into my truck.

My BDPP 130 never FELT like 130, and my TST feels like 115 and MORE

But I will say this, my truck DID put down the numbers on a chassis dyno, and it was what it "should" have been with my mods at the time:
BDPP set on 130, stock down pipe with 4" exhaust to 4" Magnaflow to stock 4" tip, with stock air filter in place, but a modded air box (swiss cheese, gutted torque tube) and with just those mods, I put 340+HP and 680+TQ to the tires. So, the numbers WERE there, just did not FEEL like it.

So, since this FEELS like more, I am curious to know what kind of numbers I REALLY am putting down

The main diff I would think may be your torque curve.

Generally speaking a downloader will give you the best low end or "out of the hole" performance but may lack slightly up top.

The tst seems to have better top end than low end but this is best suplemented with a DL or a little extra rail presure helps too but it doesnt seem to get you goin as much as the DL.

So, with the pressure on it helps you low end maybe makin at good as befor the tst with just a DL or if you run em both that would certainly be the strongest. But where the DL falls off the tst picks up thus making a flatter curve.

OR you may just be layin down more power
