My TST box hasn't set any codes at all. I'm still playing with it. I liked it better when it was a 47, but I wanted adj timing.

I got the basic box without the timing/pressure on my twin turbos. I use an MP8 for pressure which I seldom use. It'll blow a smoke cloud everytime I tromp the pedal at any setting 5,5 and above, but the twins clear it quick. Of course, with twins, I can't seem to get the EGT's over 1100 whereas one sled pull hit 1500 in less than 50 ft on the stock turbo.

I did extensive testing with my box on a dynojet and found for best power, I could use 6,4. All 6th gear pulls. Bone stock I made 265hp, 490tq. I probably did 20 runs total on the new twins.

0,0 and no MP8 - 342hp, 323tq
The MP8 was 100% for the rest of the runs.

9,9 - 473hp, 876tq & Lots of smoke
9,7 - 476hp, 874tq
8,6 - 474hp, 872tq
7,5 - 476hp, 905tq
6,6 - 505hp, 951tq
6,5 - 508hp, 950tq
6,4 - 511hp, 952tq
6,3 - 464hp, 865tq

I have the tst w/the r-47 remote.

TST 7x5
Bully Dog Crazy Larry
SPS 66 Turbo
GDP fuel system

659.3 HP. We made several runs and all of them were between 640-659.

By far one of the best stacks for making serious power. I'm sure if I had more air it would dyno more. My 66 gets a little warm.

I love my tst. I am going to go a different route for next season. I'm getting a big set of Flux injectors. As soon as I get them in, I will get on the dyno and find the best settings. Personally I'm not that concerned with dyno #'s. I just want to go fast.

thats the same thing with my buddy the truck will most likly never hit a dyno, he just wants to have fast power to kick anythings ***. he doesnt want twins, because then your $ $$ just goes way up. the truck is lifted on 37's and still have 4.11 gears.... so i know that slows it down but he wants to race idiots on the freeway...... the main problem is heat.... it hit 1400 really fast and defuels. there was a banks 6gun and stock turbo and propane system on the truck before and he had more power, than the now upgraded turbo, tst, water/meth, intake, exhuast......

what boost numbers are u guys running?

I understand that the tst can be a hot chip, but it still shouldnt be getting its but kicked by banks off the line, its still fast, it will roast the 37 toyos but not like it should

anyone runing propane with it? or just in general? i hear that gets you good off the line?

and the water meth..... whats its deal its the snow system i turn it on and id doesnt really make any difference that u can feel???

I haven't heard of very many people having much sucess running the TST above 6x4, sometimes I wonder why it goes all the way to 9x9.

At this point with my setup, see signature, if I run the TST above 4x3 I loose power and creat a lot of heat and smoke. 3x2 seem to be the best for me, but I haven't had it on a dyno to confirm.

A complete listing and specifications of the modifications on your buddy's truck would be helpful.

I would try and run it on 3x2 and see how it performs for starters.

2004.5 dodge 2500 quad cab, long bed 4x4 auto, lifted 6inch 37 toyos, with i believe 4.11 gears.

-Tst powermax box
-Snow water meth stage 2 system with a .325 jet and .625 jet
-Banks 4inch echuast
-AFE intake
-Boost fooler
-im not sure of the size but its a big single, only numbers i could pull from the turbo where 055 DC and 105848 tcc i believe from turbonetics. I believe the turbo is wastegated to 35-40 psi
-FASS 150gph system.
-tranny auto

i have the temps sent at 1450 to shut off.

Im just wondering why the banks chip and propane where doing better than this.

a distributor said that he would swap to a BD chip and 4 stage propane system and that would make it better and that twins where the only way that he would see any power with that chip...... i just find that hard to believe.

Yep the MP-8 is a pressure box. I was feeling the same way with my tst but after i added the mp-8 its way faster than with just the tst. I still havent figured out where to set everything for my truck. Ive gotta get a clutch soon so i can use the power its making.

I'm just wondering if maybe you are trying to run the TST at too high a setting. I would start out with a lower on both fueling and torque settings and work my way up slow until you find the best SOTP performance. This will take some time because of all the different variations.
