Lost roughly 10hp per setting i went up with my edge when stacked with bullydog or other downloaders.
Let's see.....

Edge is for intake and exhaust people - wrong!
For people who only put a few parts on their truck - wrong again!
Doesn't stack with anything other than Edge - couldn't be more wrong!

Do some research before you STATE FACTS and "dyno proven" information that is incorrect.

So far I have stacked the Juice with 3 non Edge products. I personally dynoed at 547/1207 so far before my injectors. There are trucks on here that have been/are over 600hp with the Juiced stacked. I will be over 600hp next time I dyno.

I'm not bashing the TST at all here. But you guys that are saying the Juice can't work in a combo that makes good power are just plain wrong.

I have an edge... love it! I think that it's a great starter box, safe for the most part, (you can tear anything up if you try...) and very user friendly. Good luck with your decision.

Hey omahamaram your wrong buddy. My brother has a edge juice with attitude on his truck and lost power on the dyno for every level he went up. He has a chevy so thats another model truck that supports my statement you lose power when you turn your edge box up while stacking with other downloaders. Listen to you talking about what your gonna have why dont you just wait till ya hit the rollers. I dont like talking about what my trucks gonna do I like talking about what it has done.

GT42R,
I would not call him wrong, but I agree with the fact that the edge does not stack well with a lot of other boxes. I tried to stack a BD X-power with mine, same results that you are describing.

We all have expectations, right? Try not to bash them too much.

I will sit back and wait for this one

I know Omaha hit very close to 550 before the sticks..... very impressive for a Edge and a MP-8!

So because a Duramax - which we know nothing about and if he has suporting mods or not - lost power on each level of the Juice means that it does so on all trucks???? If any truck is not set up with supporting mods the same thing will happen. You think you can take a stock truck and run a TST and Smarty full tilt? Guess what, turning them up will result in a power loss without supporting mods.

For right now I can prove two things.
#1 I have made 502/1170 with Juice/mp8 stack. I made 547/1207 adding in a Diablo but was at the mercy of the duration of stock injectors at that point.
#2 Go look up Morkable and see his numbers stacking with the Juice. By the way, to save you some time, he's over 600hp.

Build yours how you want. I'll be in the 12s with the Juice and be reliable with never once having to call their support line. That's good enough for me.

Hey Omaha, What tune did you have in the Predator to make the extra horses? Did it help out on the top end the most or the bottom? I am looking for something to stretch out the power band a little on the top.

I'm not sure where i put the print out or I'd tell you for sure, but if I remember right, it was stronger at the bottom and then the difference between the two pulls lessened as it got up in the rpms. For sure, as far as driving it, when the Diablo is loaded, it breaks the backend loose much easier. Now part of that has to do with just having more overall power, but it is definitely strong down low.
When I dyno next, I will be playing with several things in addition to more playing with the Diablo, including the Smarty beta 4.4. I tried a smarty once before but it wouldn't work with the Juice. I ran the Smarty alone for a couple days, but I didn't like not being able to adjust on the fly and it wasn't as fast as the Hot Juice. We're hoping that the 4.4 will work with the Juice. There are a couple guys with 555 engines that are having success with it.

As far as settings. I tried all the tunes on the Diablo as well as two custom tunes that Johan wrote for me. The 547 was made with the Diablo on the standard performance tune and the Juice on 4.

Thanks for the input. I need to get some more fuel to it and I plan on cleaning the extra fuel up with some nitrous. I want to put another turbo on it, but my EGT's are well within reason. I even put in a Isspro pyro after the turbo because I thought the Edge was lying to me. I am torn between the Smarty and the Predator for a downloader. I want one because I had my truck in the dealer for a brake booster and they reflashed my ECM for some reason. I dont think it has been as powerful since they reflashed it. It is probably in my head though.

I agree with that statement. the edge is a good starter box and fairly safe for your truck. guys that dont want a ton of mods and dont want to trash anything, edge is where its at. but if you want brutal power and have supporting mods like turbos, cp3s, fuel systems etc, the tst is for you.
I think they are both good boxes in their own way, but some guys try to put a tst on a stock truck and run it on 9. there is a huge list of mods before you can do that safely. when tst gets their stuff lined out on the 06.5/07 5.9 there will be one back on my truck without a doubt
