The newer units for the common rail do not have a fuel pressure indicator or gauge option. They just came out with the turbo timer function a month or two ago. The tech told me they have to redo the whole attitude/module set up. the harness is removable from the attitude and can be left in the truck if you need to remove it for any reason. I cant wait to see it and how it works with the ignition

I got rid of my Juice/attitude. after a month the truck would only run for a few seconds and then die. I took the box off problem gone, I sent the box in and they benchtested it updated the software and sent it back pronto.

I figured it would be tiring to take the box out everytiime I had to go to the dealer, or what if it broke down when my wife was driving.

I bought a Commander I leave in full time and currently saving for a smarty, seems the easiest choice for me.

How much more power? For a lot less than the tst you can stack something with the Hot Juice. Unless you're going for over 700, the Juice is good to go. It has been proven to go over 600hp with the right combo of goodies.

Edge has a lot nicer monitor and yeah unless your shooting for really high hp which youd have to stack for anyways the edge is a very nice unit

I ran the edge juice on my 05 for a while no issues. the tst did throw codes but on about level 4 it pulled way harder than the edge on 5. if you want safe power and dont plan on big mods the edge is the way to go. if you want to win events and plan on big mods the tst is no joke. its brutal power but you need alot to support a tst. I run the tst because I live in Indiana and they are about 45 min from me. they are nice people and their box is one of the meanest out their. their R49 has 4 programs & lots of adjustability

I love my TST Econ,std,tt05,tt03 programs adjustable rail pressure, adjustable timing 0-18 degrees, turbo timer, wastegate adjustment on 04.5' and up. You need to be careful with it or you will trash a tranny. Wouldn't hurt to have a pusher pump either. I can drain the rail pretty fast.

TST is the best box i have ever been around. It has so many important functions on it that can really help you if your truck is super modified. Edge is for intake and exaust people. Meaning people who only put a few parts on there truck. Plus edge does not stack with anything other that edge. That is dyno proven. Lost roughly 10hp per setting i went up with my edge when stacked with bullydog or other downloaders.

That's me! I'm an intake and exhaust guy. I do agree that the TST is best for max power but most of the time my truck is used for towing so the TST would be wasted. The Edge Juice has a much smoother feel to it than TST and has quite a few safety parameters to keep you from burning up motors or transmissions. The attitude display is much nicer than the TST.

I have had a TST R49 since about 5000 miles on the truck. It has served me well over the years. I have never had a problem. Makes good power and helped my mileage. The comments for being careful with a stock tranny and needing a pusher pump are valid issues. I think those comments should be followed with any choice of performance modules. I could run my fuel pressure to 0 with the box set on level 3.

You will have fun with whatever box you decide to use. If you buy a used TST from someone the boxes with serial number 5000 and below cannot be upgraded to the newest versions of the software.

Good Luck, Jeff

I have an Edge Juice, I like it solid power and tons of safety features. I think I am going to upgrade to a TST box once I beef up my transmission a little more.

Ok as far as EDGE vs TST i have to agree with alot of whats been said. The EDGE is a great module infact I helped in the development and testing for the common rail Juice/Att and for the "HOT" programing also. I currently still have it on my truck because I love the way it runs. I also have to agree with the opinions of not being able to "STACK" programmers with it. I tried a Smarty,BullyDog, Diablo, Superchips, and i think the other was a PPE and every time i did my truck was a bit sluggish and it just didnt run right untill i pulled it off. Noe my truck if VERY modified and I can put down some BIG power with just my EDGER and my other mods BUT im still looking at buying the new TST because I want even more power and my truck is built to handle it without having any problems. My friends just installed a new TST the other day and they said the options you get with it now are insane as far as fine tuning it to your truck, Which to me is GREAT!!!
