Tst ???

Anybody Had problems with there tst r49 missing and caring on when you first hammer it once it hits 1600 rpm it clears out and pulls hard. Is it the lift pump or am I doing something wrong with settings. Don't get me wrong it works great no codes but I have just started noticing it. Also what is the best settings for it pw/tq/rp/timing etc.
Thanks

Well it could be lift pump if it is still stock. Does your TST have Rail Pressure option? Tweak the settings down one step, one thing at a time and see if it stops doing it. I think most people start with the TST set too high for optimum driveability. I know I did. Higher settings make more power and useful for racing, but are not normally street friendly. Just my experience and .02.

I would back off the RP to no more that 1 and torque no more than 2 and see if you still have the issue.

Rail pressure

The rail pressure plug can be plugged in wrong,.. it plugs in either way, fyi. You need to double ck the pics that come with your unit to be sure you are plugging it in correctly at the rail.
