TS Ramifier or PPE Enforcer??

My boss just got a Power pup for his 04 CR and it pops at WOT and is not pleased with that and it's performace. Dealer said he could get a TS Ramifier or a PPE Enforcer for the same price. His truck is just has exhaust and a intake and he just wants a good chip not to extreme to run in it without any worries as far as not enough rail pressure and fuel pump problems.Something simple as he doesen't know much about this stuff. Im not up to date on all the Common Rail stuffs as I have a 24v, So any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated. THANKS in Advance.

Yeah but I dont think he wants to buy anything else he just wants one good chip, and his power pup pops real bad when he floors it and around 2800 rpm it will pop real bad before it shifts to 2nd gear. And one time he started to powerbreak it and it started popin a bunch. I dont know much on these common rail's if it has something to do with it suckin the high pressure rail dry or not ??? or defueling or something.

Your boss has a problem...the BDDL should not be runing the rail dry (pop) on any setting...except for MAYBE Crazy Larry. Something else is wrong with the truck.

I don't know, my stock lift pump popped with just the EZ on anything over level 1 when it was new. The EZ is pressure though. Without the EZ and with just the Juice on the stock lift pump on level 5/5 I couldn't get it to pop. Does the BDDL have the means for fuel pressure?

I don't know if this matters but does he have a 04.5 or an 04?

What pop are we talking about....popcorn pop? That is the rail running dry...not directly a lift pump problem, but maybe?

Oh, I got ya. I wasn't thinking of an actual sound. I was talking about running WOT and someone reaching over and turning the key off and then back on again. My pressure would go to 0 at that point, even on the dyno. It wasn't good. I don't know that it made any noise though.

Like from a dead stop punch to WOT around 2800 rpms it'll pop through the exhaust like a gas engine backfire but not that loud, right before it shifts into 2nd gear. And one time at a stop he held the breaks and loaded the engine and punched (launched) the truck in 2wd and the tires broke loose a little and it poped a couple times while they were spining and then it clears up.

It's a strait 04.

~2750 on the dyno graph is where mine cut out. Here are the graphs. The first one is against speed and the second is RPM. Both are the same run.

Yeah I dont know it's not up to me today he acted like he wanted to get his 30 day moneyback garantee back and not switch it out for something else.?

How does that thing perform? Do you not like it?

Ok, to explain the graphs above....basically that is what it looks like when the lift pump can't keep up with the fuel demand.

In short I think your boss's truck is running out of fuel pressure.
