TS MP8 whats it like
I have been hearing about alot of people that are stacking the mp-8. What all does this thing do? How good is it? Is worth the purchase and replacing it with the hot juice?

I don't know what the hot juice is like but the mp-8 is very nice... You can definately tell a difference in power and it is easily adjustable.. I have yet to install my rail guage so I don't run it over 40% whic is what they recommend.. I had it stacked with the smarty. Mark(53 *****'s) has the smarty right now but I love the stack... smooth and reliable power... Tranny just hates it!!!!

It is a pressure only module. Your Juice does not add pressure, so they work very nicely together. As Shane said though, without a rail gauge you want to keep it around 40% - especially with stock injectors. A good fuel filtration set up and some Flux injectors and I run mine about 75% and see about 27k on the rail gauge.

I run mine on 100% almost everywhere I go, stock truck otherwise, with no gauges...Ts says it won't raise beyond what Bosch design said they were capable of handling...sorry I don't remember exact specs, something like 100% was 28000psi and were capable of 30,000psi without harm, just my 02.

I'd be careful on that line of thought....now sure what year truck you have, but i was under the impression that anything over 27k of rp is playing with the devil and puts your pressure relief valve and injectors (stock) at significant risk.....even the big boys with a ton of HP (and supporting mods) dont appear to run at 100% on the MP8

The safe mark on a stock truck is more like 25-26k. Maybe you'll get lucky. If you don't crack an injector running it like that, you should probably go buy a lottery ticket.

How does the MP-8 compare to the edge ez on a 03-04 305/555 motor? What are the rail pressures on 40% with the MP-8? Would it be comparable to running an edge ez on level 1 (40hp/150tq)? After I get an exhaust, I am planning on a tow box and gauges.

I bought an o7 with the 6.7, been installed for a couple of months now driving about 75 to 100 miles a day and no problems yet, are these injectors the same as the 5.9's which I suppose you guys are referring to?

I've been playing pretty hard with my mp8. It sees 100% at least twice a week for the past year.
I'm stacking it with a smarty and it pulls so much harder with it on 100% vs 40%.....I just cant help it sometimes its so freaking fast on 100% with my mods!!!!
I find myself using it more often because I dropped down to the 60hp smarty because it drives better and crank up the mp8 if anybody wants some.
Yeah I know its not good for the motor but it isnt like I drive it every day at 100% WOT.
It sure fuels my big silverbullet.
I thought 03-04 injectors were less prone to problems.
