I guess it depends on the wieght of the truck. I road in a crew cad long bed that was all over the road after some truxus at highway speeds. This was after an alignment. The truck felt more stable on the 38's it had previously. The guy got some regular A/Ts because the STSs were wearing so fast so they became the pulling set of tires.

sts
i had a set of 33 12.50's they didnt ride the best but at the truck pull they pulled their *** off. One guy already was pulling with them, i didnt notice till he said he had them, now two other guys are using them. I could nail it to the floor at a stop and watch the rubber stick to the road, as long as i held the pedal down two black streaks. The rubber is really soft. Also the advertising says they are really good on sand which is why i originally bought them, come to find out they sucked on the beach for me anyway. First i didnt let any air out to test them, i wound up letting alot of air out, and they still kept me below the surface. So then i used them for truckpulling, i think that is their niche.

They actually wore pretty even. My truck is an 06 with 30,000 miles so everything is still pretty new( balljoints, wheel bearings, tie rods, etc.). Street manners, one second your going straight then to the right then straight then left then right. And flat spots were not to bad but you would notice them. I dont think any interco tire has good street manners, why? Because they were built for off road use. I have heard the same stories about boggers, thornbirds, and ltb's. Thats just my opinion. But hey what do i know im just the consumer.

had them on a 2000 chev in 35x12.5r17. Wouldn't balance (one tire took 26! ounces), louder than my 36x15.5 baja claws and mtzs, sold them to a buddy with an f350, wore out bald in 30,000 miles.
MTZs, Toyo M/T, Baja Claws, ATZs, BFG KM2s are all infinitely better tires

Good choice. On a side note I really liked the Trxus STS's but it dont matter what tire I get im lucky to get 20,000. Driving like im really 31 yrs old is hard. Maybe if I buy some penny loafers I will get better mileage?
