Dave is pretty busy, so you will probably have to leave a message, but he will call you back as soon as he can. When he does, he'll take as long as you need to talk through what you are after and what you need to accomplish that and how much it will cost. He will build you whatever you want, but the best thing is to tell him the results you are looking for in the application of your truck and he will reccomend what to do. Go with what he says. The other great thing about Dave and being a small town guy that has bought the business that his father started, is that he won't over sell you. You will get what you need and not anything more, which means that whatever dollar amount that comes out to, you can be sure that you are not getting sucked into spending anything you don't NEED to spend.

So we go back to square one. 55K on the transmission, customer wants only a torque converter and a valve body. Customer also wants to run in the 13’s. What do you suggest? We recommended a full rebuild and everyone called BS. Are you going to have a billet input shaft installed without rebuilding the transmission? Who was right? Nobody was trying to rip anyone off, just giving good solid advice.

Running in mid 13's was not originally specified. A full rebuild is more inline with that requirement. With his original version, I do call a full rebuild BS. It was not until his second post that he mentioned running 12's and 13's. By the way, a tranny flush is a waste of money also.
