egts look good but that is all I can tell without the map to the edge hooked up. The truck does not sound like it goes flat like before just not as much power

I thought of something. I think it was my problem, might be yours. When I was in the snow I had similar issues but back in sunny CA it seems fine. How about snow building up in the intake causing restriction- then it melts and everythings ok.

Before I left I cleaned the air cleaner and put in a new fuel filter. The snow would be a good thought but it does it when it is warm out also. I ran the truck home in stock with just the egt hooked up and it ran fine. I have not had the truck in stock for so long it just seems like it is down on power but it is probably me. Im sending my edge off for them to look at they said it sounded like it could be in their box. Im going on a short trip tommorrow and I have a old boost fooler in the garage I had on it at one time. I going to plug it in and see what happens.

Yes the edge does boost fooling but everything can break. The edge might be acting up but who knows. The edge do read very accurate when you get much over 35lbs anyway. Thats why I am going with a mechanical boost gauge, like I said my juice won't even read over 35 or 36 it just goes up to it and stops exactly at 35.

Ok, I thought it was only me this was happening too. Same symptoms, but I have the XZT. I used to be able to boost to 43lbs, and my egts would stay low, but now, not all the time, but some of the time, the boost only goes as high as the high 20's and the egts really start to climb.

Wow. I thought I was the only one with this problem.. Well im in FL so you can rule out the cold weather! My truck will reach 39psi normally. But now its only hitting the mid 20s. If I drive normal for sometime and then get on it it hits 39 at very high rpms. Not at 2300 like it did. After that 26 is all I get. I unplugged the edge and put a manual gauge on it and it didnt read more then 27 psi. I dont think its the edge. I am getting a code though, no light. Its a P-6603 or something. Ill have to get the exact code tomorrow when I get near my truck again. I dont think my turbo is going south, I checked the impellar and everything seems fine. Cleaned my air filter aswell. Im thinking either wastegate is stuck or map sensor. My 95 camaro did the same thing once due to a sticking wastegate. Wouldnt boost for nothing, that problem was easy to find, all you heard was a ton of air coming out of the bottom of the engine..

Ok the code was for a skim key or something. code P-0633.. Nothing to do with this. But I still have the problem reguargless. I just spent about 4 hours reading up about this, my eyes are killing me. Im stuck now, I thought it was either the turbos wastegate or the map. But it seems if the fuel volume is low or low pressure (cant remember which) it will cause low boost im guessing from the engine protecting itsself. What im wondering is if it was a lift pump or something wouldnt the egts stay low. It seems im getting enough fuel cause the egts are going to 1390+ with the edge on level 1! I personally still vote on the wastegate being the culprit.

Mine does the same thing, still not sure what is causing it, might be the wastegate not being able to stay closed all the time. Sometimes I will get 36-38lbs othertimes I can only get 21-24psi. Seems to get worse when the engine is hot, over 200 when pulling. Maybe the ecm is trying to cut power to cool the engine temp down, but with the edge on the only thing it accomplishes is low boost pressure. I really dont know for sure what is causing the low boost but it does seem to happen when the engine temp is up over 200.
