What kind of custom fuel system? Maybe it's starving the CP3 for fuel.

I agree. you need to see what you fuel pressure is doing while it's surging. I remember listening to your pump that day at my house. It's possible you got a bad pump. I take it you don't have your commander working yet? Hook up a manual guage temporarly to watch it.

not sure what the psi is now but it surged before when the commander worked, and it was reading 40.

sorry i haven't got back to ya. but it still does it. and not sure about the rpm range. i don't think it does it with the wild TM, only with the 4.4. I think it does it in the higher rpm range so not sure.

Did you ever replace your clutch yet? Mine used to do it too, but doesn't anymore, i just chalked it up to the clutch slipping. With the OFE it pulls smooth and grabs you hard when the turbo lights!

My surge seems have stoped since I pluged my waste gate. I'm guessing it was the waste gate actuator. I wasn't reduceing the boost presure or changeing the fuel pressure. When the map reads full boost it backs the fuel off some but then it thinks it can have more fuel and the cycle isn't wide or long enough to show boost changes but you can sure feel it.
On my truck it started around 2100rpms and stoped around 2500rpms.
