Truck dieing
Ok so this has been going on for a little while now but it seems to have gotten worse today. When I'm driving down the road the tach dies, truck sputters and either dies or continues to run but sounds bad and puts out a grey blackish smoke. If this happens when Im driving usually I can throw it in neutral and kill it, wait 2 seconds and start it back up. When I start it back up it runs fine.
I'm stumped on this one... Could it be my tst thrownig the truck in limp mod?
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Still running the original lift pump?
Do the key ON/OFF/ON three times to check for any error codes displayed in the odometer readout. Or use the Smarty.
If no codes I would also check all the TST connections.

I have a fass pump and its giving me 3 codes I think. I checked it a while back when it first started happening. One was something about the A/C current is too high and I forget the other two codes. When I looked them up a while back they both popped up in tst's code trouble section.
