Truck continues to rev between shifts!!!

I put the TST on today along with the MP-8 that was already on it. When I get on it really hard the engine doesn't let off when I raise my foot and depress the clutch. Would this be caused by the high boost? I'm not sure where it's at as I only have the TST boost reading which stops at 40 psi. Is this something inherant to the 6 speed trucks or do I have an issue???

BTW, it hauls tail with the TST on 3/2 and the MP-8 on about 25%. I don't want to turn it up higher since I'm running with just the stock LP. I didn't feel any popping from running the rail dry nor did I feel the clutch slipping at all. Seems like the perfect settings for now....
Me Likey!!

It's normal for manual equipped trucks to hold the rpms when shifting, especially at high rpms and WOT. The ECM continues to fuel because the boost pressure is still high.

If you using the programmer to read the boost from the MAP sensor the max value is only 40psi because of the sensor voltage limitation from my understanding. Will have to go to a mechanical boost gauge to get an accurate reading.

My dads truck does the same thing. The first time I took it for a spin with the tst I was freaked out... Rolled into it in 3rd and shifted to 4th and the rpms went through the roof.

Cool. Just want to make sure mine isn't screwed up. I'll be putting the boost guage on soon.
She barks that turbo pretty easily too. I'll have to be a bit more careful when I let off the accellerator....

You will fix the bark once you drive it some more and get used to it.

It seemed to me that the mp8 made my truck rev between gears worse than the mp8.

Once you motor gets a few miles on it go ahead and try 6/2 and 25% but make sure to run the standard version and not the twins or you will over boost pretty bad.

Right now under WOT you shouldnt see much more than 42-44 with you current settings. The mp8 will stop you at around 44lbs, unless you try tt03 and then it keeps goin.

Thanks men. This thing is definitely a different beast then the old 03 was. I will say one thing though. This thing stcok makes so much power that I'm no longer surprised to see so many guys who don't want to BOMB their trucks. I kind of like running around stock right now. I'm not sure the TST is even going to stay on the truck......
My TST is the std version BTW....
And I have a whopping 750 miles on it now!! I just couldn't keep looking at all those parts sitting in the garage waiting for a new home. The muffler delete is next and then the HTB2.....
