i had followed alpine somethings directions and got all the way to extract here on the file from mads, to convert it to a smt. file and my computer says Cannot open file ".etc.etc etc" then the upgrade number and at the end it says as archive.
it will not let me make it to smt format?
not sure what to do the only thing i did different from the directions was the 7zip download version was different than his i'm guessing cause he made that downloading for dummies quite awhile ago

can anyone help me


by the way without that write up i would never be able to upgrade. Great product, but updating is a joke how can you change all those things in a truck computer and make the download 75 steps and confusing

yeah its bad...bosshogg and I tryed for an hour last night and none of the three files for diff OS's could be extracted...HELP!!!

When I tried to extract files for the Revo Jr. it wouldn't create a ".smt" file. It would only give me a diagnostic screen and wouldnt do anything after that. Must be a corrupted file like mentioned above.

why not temp. remove from their site or something instead of all us spending countless hours trying to figure out what were doing wrong if it is corrupt

Maybe you should post the MD5 hash for the files you post on the download website. This way people can check their downloaded files to see that they are intact.
