I just got my password to enable it, and I asked if it was pretty much useless on a manual tranny and he said yes. I'm not sure I believe that but I'll know for sure when I leave work tonight!

I just spoke to Bully Dog and the yes or no question at the beginning of downloading does not remove torque management, but does spread extra torque more evenly (if that makes sense). You do have to have a code to actually remove the torque management.

I know there is something else going on when you hit yes for more bottom end. When I select the "stock" setting on the controler, it has way more bottom end than the real stock ECM load has. Infact I like the "stock" bulley dog setting better than the tow/econ setting.

great well now that i downloaded it i cant use it till tomorrow because i dont have a code. what kind of crap is that. if i didnt want the tq management gone i would have left it alone. did they say that the password is diffrent for all trucks. i have trouble believing that the tq managment does nothing for the six speed trucks. i can tell you that the 2.3.0 did not do much for my six speed.

top secret code
the code they gave me was NX76 I bet that will work on all of them. The beast will smoke the tires for about 30 ft now it would not even turn a tire before that is from a standing stop from an idle stock tranny too......on performance setting.

That's what the guy told me. He said to actually remove the torque management you have to go into the options screen and put in the password once the download is complete and a performance setting is set.
