Transmission Pan For 48re

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND AN OVERSIZED TRANSMISSION PAN FOR AN 04 48RE? I KNOW THERE ARE ONES FOR THE 47 THAT HOLD 4 QUARTS MORE AND HAVE THE TEMP GAUGE FITTING. I HAD A 2000 WITH ONLY 40,000 AND TRANS WAS GOING OUT,THAT'S WHY I GOT AN 04. MAYBE THE EXTRA FLUID MIGHT MAKE IT LAST LONGER.

I THINK GENO'S SELLS THE MAY-HYTEC DOUBLE DEEP DISH PAN THAT WORKS ON THE 48RE. PRICE IS SOMETHING LIKE $265 BEFORE SHIPPING. YOU'LL HAVE TO CHECK, CUZ i HAVE A HANDSHAKER.

THIS LOOKS LIKE ITS FOR THE 47 NOT THE 48. IF THEY USE THE SAME PAN THIS WOULD BE GREAT. I CALLED A FEW PLACES [SUMMIT RACING AND HUGHES ] BUT THEY DIDN'T KNOW IF THEY WERE THE SAME PANS. DO YOU?

SBENNET(I forgot the rest), YES I DO. NOW WHY'D YOU CALL ALL THOSE OTHER FOLKS WHO DON'T KNOW??? GO LOOK AT PAGE 12 OF GENO'S CATALOG #42. MH-727-DD MAG-HYTEC DOES INDEED "FIT YOUR STOCK 727, 518, 47RH OR 48RE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION". HECK, THEY EVEN THROW IN A MOPAR TRANNY FILTER WITH YOUR PURCHASE AS WELL.

I'M JUST READING THE CATALOG FOR YOU SHIPMATE. THEY'RE ONLINE TOO 1.800.755.1715

I'll turn the caps off now and put my glasses back on. And if that quote is incorrect, don't tell me, tell them. I've got a real transmission in my truck.

Your welcome. I bet you could call Summit back again and see who's got the best deal for you. A Mag-Hytec is a Mag-Hytec no matter who sells it. PN's may even be similar enough for the person to find it in the database.

48RE Trany pan

Hey there! The mechanic that does the work on my truck told me to pull the Mag-Hi-Tec from my 2002 2500 because it would bolt right onto the new truck. I was entertaining the thought of getting a 2003 3500 SRW at the time. Just my 2 cents worth.

Put a TCI deep pan on the racecar and liked it so much I bought one for the truck. The truck part# is 4qt extra and I think it came from Summit.
