Transgo regrets

The "Mods you regret installing" thread was interesting. The Transgo shift kit was mentioned several times. Can anyone who has installed one of these comment on your likes/dislikes of the kit. I have one ready to go in but have yet to install it. After reading the regrets thread I'm thinking that maybe I shouldn't. Opinions?

Thanks.

Mike

I haven't read the thread. I loved my Transgo kit. It firmed my shifts and let my fluid flow in park. I believe it made my tranny last longer than it would have.

From: northern california,
I had it and I did not like it at all. It would slam to hard and shift like crap. Had to get a new valve body. I had this one worked alittle and it is much better.

CT Powertrain Products p/n K22908M. $67.99 plus shipping ($12.12 for me from the original invoice). I bought in online about 2 years ago and never got around to putting it on. I think I'm going to put it up for sale. It's still in the unopened, original box. I've got $80.00 in it. First $75.00 offer gets it. This includes shipping. Who wants it? Send me a PM.

Trans go kits work fine when installed properly as fas I've seen. I've installed many of them too.

My dad's 2wd '06 has a TransGo in it. No issues that I can tell. Trans shifts great!

As j-fox mentioned, if they're installed properly, they'll work as designed.
