Trans Temp Sender
I got my new gauges and cannot figure out where I need to put the sender for my tranny. could anyone help me out maybe some pics or detailed info. thanks

i put mine on the back side of the pan or you can put it on the bottome, drain and clean it, weld in a 1/8 inch npt half coupleling or the required size, while your at it put in a 3/8 inch npt half coupleing for a drain. Heliarc them in.

Or you can use an AccuTemp adapter that fastens on the output line from the tranny to the cooler. No need to open the case or lines so no possibility of contamination.

I second the Diesel Manor line...you never truly know actual trans temps unless you read them from the HOT line coming out of the TC.
Senders mounted in the pan only offer trans temps AFTER it comes back from the coolers, there can be as much as a 30-60* difference when the TC is unlocked between the HOT line and the pan.
