trans shifting funny
Well the other day i got into the gas and it felt like the t/c slipping a lil. random rpm jump with no downshifting. Now since then i notice the truck has a hesitan under normal driving going though the gears but under pedal it doesnt.
The funny shifting is under normal driving it seems to hold each gear longer now then it did before. Its either 2,000 rpms or 2300 rpms before it sifts now and it dropped a gear earlier doing about 45 all of a sudden and shifted right back.
anyone got any suggestions. Im in the middle of getting quotes a complete trans, toque conveter, and flexplate also.

Hey i have nice dealer down the road too. $50 apiece to my good tech and the service manager under the table and be honest with them and good as gold! I dont plan on getting my tranny warrantied though, but little things here and their you bet.

I never ran the smarty on the stock tranny but I did run crazy larry a few times with it and my converter would slip bad when I would dog it out in overdrive. its a big gamble with an agressive downloader and a stock tranny.
If it is doing goofy stuff now I doubt it will last much longer
