Tranny temp sender
O.K. this is probably a stupid question, but here goes....I bought the Isspro pillar gauge package (with the replacement tranny cooler line that has the "tee" installed on it) from Diesel Manor. My question is: Do I have to drain some/all of the tranny fluid before installing the new cooler line or is the line high enough in the system that little or no fluid will come out when I remove the stock line?
Thanks

It is high enough that you will not lose a large amount of fluid however I would recommend that you pick up a qt of ATF+4 so that you can replace whatever you do lose because some will come out. I lost about 1/3 to 1/2 a qt when I replaced mine, maybe less.

You will lose about a pint so have a quart of ATF +4 handy. Just take the bottom line off and let it drain into a bucket. Assemble the new line with sender. Take off old line and replace with ready new line. All done. Takes about 15 min. max. It's not bad at all.
