Tranny mods?
Truck details in my sig.
Its a mall crawler really. I want to put some bigger tires on it when I lift it a bit more. But I worry about the transmission.
What mods would you recommend? A gear change? I have gotten conflicting recommendations about the gears...some say not to, others claim I need 4:56s ( im not going for that, I do alot of highway driving)
Thanks
Oh and Im not cheap so dont just recommend the cheap ways to beef it up.

Looks like a newer tranny so for now you can do a TC/VB swap and get a good TC and that will make the tranny last a lot longer and it will hold better. I don't see and real power adders in your sig, so if you are making stock power, then you don't need billet shafts and all that.
Your stock gears should be ok, but if you feel you need a little better gearing, don't go lower than 4:10's.

Here is a spreadsheet to play with. It can at least give you an idea of differnet gearing and RPM you will end up with if you decide on changing gears.
