Hey guys, I need to get a tranny here in the next few months. Where are all the big tranny guys located? NADP, Georend, ATS, etc.... I am trying to find the closest tranny builder to Miles City, MT. I know most people's favorite is Dave, but I want to have the trans shop install it so if there is any problem at all, we can address it there and not a thousand miles from the builder, and have to pay to ship it back and forth. So, where is the closest shop?

I think Goerend took down his list of authorized installers, you might be able to call them and ask if they have any near you, getting it installed by an authorized shop makes his trans that much better, and that much stronger if there ever should arise a warranty issue.

 

I know he's not the "big boys", but there is Mark at A.P.T. in Kent WA. That's right at 950 miles from you!!

Hey, did they ever figure out what started the downtown fire? I'm originally from Lambert, my aunt owns the hair place right across the street from where the fire was. We drove through in April and checked it out. Looked pretty bad.

 

NADP is in edmonton... Im in Williston ND and considered going up there to buy and have installed

 

You know, I still don't think they ever figured out what caused it. The last I heard was there was some carpentry work and remodeling going on, and at the end of the day toward evening when everyone was gone, thats when it started, so..... Don't know for sure, but there starting to tear it all down now.

 

Ya, I thought about NADP, but the last time I called, they made some comments to me that I kinda turned me off from wanting to do much buisness with them, but whoever I spoke with could have been having a bad day. Its just hard for me to really consider anyone else besides Dave because of how great he is on the phone, but he is soooo far away, ya know.

 

I don't personally know them....but I think JaredB???? used Moonlight Diesel in Salt Lake City, UT.......for his DTT build. It's holding some big horsepower.

Prob still a haul for you. I guess anywhere is a distance from you.
