I bought a premium Top Gun rear bumper with 10" drop and want to use the factory receiver. Unfortunately, all of my receiver hitches are about two inches too short now. I figured that someone else on here has had this problem and might be able to point me in the direction of a solution (either hitches with longer shanks, or some sort of extension).

Any advice would be much appreciated. I need to tow with this thing!

 

I bought the same bumper, I added an extension, II put a grade 8 bolt in the pin hole on the factory hitch and welded it to the bottom of the bumper for extra support. Works great.

 

That would probably work for me... I'd prefer something that I could do now (i'm not that great of a welder). I'm out of town right now and will return on Sunday. I'm then hoping to pull a small trailer with two motorcycles on Wednesday. I won't have much time to do anything to fix it on Monday or Tuesday so I was hoping there was something I could buy online and have waiting for me at home when I return on Sunday that would fix my problem.
