Track night

Went to the 1/8 mile track here by me and the best run of the night was 9.21 @ 75MPH. Does that sound about right for my mods or am i running a little slow?

That sounds a little slow for your mods. Are you running big tires? How much boost were you launching with? I assume you were running Crazy Larry?

I agree that time seems a little slow based on mods. But like stated above it does all depend on the type of launch, tires, track conditions, etc. I would think you could be in the high 8s, but I don't remember if I got there before my turbo upgrade or not.

With HOT Juice/EZ, FASS, IISPS66, AFE Stage I, Exhaust missing CAT and TC/Trans built with TC Lockup Switch using 12-15psi 4wd launches I ran consistent 8.7s-8.8s 1/8s with 1.9s 60'.

What are your 60' times?

Crazy Larry alone 2.4.1 doesnt leave worth a crud, truck will fall on its face terribly. What was your 60' times we were cutting 2.0 with crazy larry .3 slower then smarty or diablo.

Take that outlook off and youll pick up an extra 30rwhp. DDP did a couple test's reguarding that thing and even with the defuel points all the way up the still made 30hp less then with it unpluged completely. Were you using the mp-8 to add pressure at all?

Pressure was up 100% on the mp-8, the outlook monitor itself causes loss of power??

im running stock muffler, im sure that would make some difference. i have a high flow muffler getting here on tuesday, and im looking for a turbo. Anyone know what turbo i should go with for drag racing? Im trying to get to about 7-800HP eventually.

Pressure to 100% could have been your problem you should be able to back it down to 40%-60% and feel it pick up now if you were to add a set of stixs into your setup and run rail pressure down you would be able to use the rest of that mp-8 level. Yes the outlook on a truck dynoed by ddp made 30rwhp less then with it unplugged all the defuel points were set at their max limits to make sure they werent interferring in the pull, they never reached those max limits but apparently it was doing some form of defueling.
A HTT 62 or II ps62 would support 600-650 and spool quick a little slower then stock. A Aurora 5000 or a silver bullet will support 800hp but wont tow for crud nor spool quickly. Twins are what im going with since I still have to tow some. I am still running stock everything on my truck intake, exhaust, injectors, turbo, fuel system, and trans all stock and ran a 13.309, so i cant say that a exhuast will help alot but maybe some im gonna do 5" on mine.

Are you running the stock lift pump? If so I would say you have some pretty aggressive fueling for it to be able to keep up. Might knock off some time if you can keep the CP3 happy. Didn't see it in your sig so i thought i'd ask. Might be time to upgrade. I also agree with a turbo upgrade if you plan on adding any more fuel. Muffler should help with Egts and turbo spooling but doubtful you will see any noticable power increase.

I was simply trying to find the limits on all the stock cummins parts by using a programer (smarty sw #9 beta 4.4) and a fuel box (quad x2 pressure stacker pwl 5) I was able to get that 13.309. I think thats the limits of lots of these stock parts. This was done with a lockup switch and a mild 1.94 60' I overboosted and had to lift and then spool back up didnt have alot of time ford was leaving on me and wasnt going to get beat. LOL. All my go fast parts are coming very fast shooting for a 11 second daily driver. We also have a 06 single cab 4wd running 13.0s on similar parts with the exception of a glacier, s&b, and 5" and a 300lb difference, but still also very impressive and that was without any pressure added to his tuning, smarty sw#9 beta 4.4 and tst on 3/3.
