i have alot of play in my steering, was just wondering in a thuren track bar would help or is there anything else you guys would recomend

The first step is to make sure there are no worn out parts in the steering. Stick your head under the front of the truck, while a trustworthy helper starts the truck and steers side-to side. You have a look at all the tie-rod ends, and both ends of the track bar, and see if there is any slop anywhere. A steering gear adjustment is often a big help in solving your complaint. Even on new trucks it is often set very loose and needs to be brought into spec.
