I drag raced and dynoed my Cooper S/T's all summer, towed up to 38k and they are just half worn and still good in the snow.....50k I think so far and going. I bought them new in 2005. I have Toyo AT on the front and if they don't last for 50k I'll be po'd. I got 60k out of the stockers towing heavy though. Mud tires seem to wear 30% faster overall if you tow at all. ks

It's all in proper rotaion, tire pressure etc. And how easy you are on the skinny pedel. I can make a set of tires last 100 miles if need be or last for a while if I drive like an old bitty.

I had 40,000 hard miles on my mt's when I traded in my 05... Loved them to death.. Figured I had about 6-8 left on them.. They were going down hill fast..

My Hankook Dynapro MT's are wearing fast on the front end. I rotate every
2,500-3,000 miles. Noticably pitching every other block. Getting a little louder. Running 48 PSI up front and 35 in the rears. I weighed my truck today with a half tank of fuel. 7,160 lbs. 2890lbs rear 4,270lbs front. I have right at around 12,000 miles on them and over 3/4 tread. I hardly ever spin my tires on anything other then dirt or mud.

If I can get a minimum of 30-35K, would like to see 35-40K, that would be perfectly fine for these tires. I check pressures now alot, and rotate every 5K, when I do the service. At the moment I have 41,XXX on the stocker BFGs and they are about 50%, and I am trying to wear them out so I can put on the lift, wheels, and tires.

Got about 45k out of a set of bfg mt's pulling 12k probably 25k of those miles. Now I am running Nitto Terra grapplers, only have about 10k on them, and they are nearly 1/2 gone, not very impressed with how they are holding up. I wish I had went with the Toyo mt's, they look great.

I have a set of Toyo's ready to go on when these are gone..

We ran BFG AT KOs for 100Ks of miles, and they'd usually be done after 25K miles, since the service trucks gross ~ 10K# as they sit, and of course they get loaded and haul trailers as well.
If I get 30K miles out of these new 37" x13.5" Toyo Open Country MTs, I'll be thrilled! 4K miles so far with measurable wear on the rears only - about .050"-.065

Mt BFG AT KOs look brand new with 30,000+ miles on them. I keep them at max pressure (65psi on the sidewall) and rotate at least every 7500 miles. Under-inflated tires on a CTD will not last.

I measured the tread on my Toyos MTs today. New the tread measures 21/32", after 12K miles at 65psi (not the most comfy ride in the world) I'm at 12/32". Not as good as I'd hoped but what I expected.

IMO, a mud tire needs to be rotated every 2500-3000 miles.
Most tire shops do them for free. People need to take advantage of this!
I only have 300 miles on my Toyos but love them so far. Pretty quiet for a mud tire.
Mine are siped as well, so I will see how they do in the snow.
Personally, I hate all terrain tires because they pick up rocks really bad. If you drive any dirt it just gets annoying. I don't even drive much dirt, but when I do I find it annoying. In the last 6 years I've run BFG MT, Cooper ST, Pro Comp MT, Pro Comp Xtreme MT, and now the Toyo MTs.
So far the Toyos are the quietest. The STs picked up the rocks terribly!

I have about 34 -35k on my bfg km2's (the new mud terain) and they are just now getting to the 50% mark still as quiet as the day they were new. up until about 2thousand miles ago the truck weighed in at 8000lbs with standard load daily. I run 65psi full time.
