do you think that trimming it down and finishing it off with primer will make that much difference compared to bending it back? i'd rather trim it as i think it's easier to cut a nice straight line that follows the line i cut in my fender flares but don't want to have grief down the line as i plan on keeping this truck for a while.

I think it would be hard to cut, the angles and access. But it has been a while since I looked in there at the spot. I decided rolling it over with a BFH was easier and efficient for me.

i think for now i'm going to leave it as is. been running the tires for 4 days and no rub yet even with over 1000 lbs. of blocked wood in the bed. it sure does look close to hitting when the wheel is cut especially on the drivers side but if it is'nt rubbing then i guess i should just be happy and leave well enough alone.
