Toyo 285/75/17 ??

Ok, is there anyone running the Toyo AT 285/75/17 10 ply? Some local dealers say that the size does not exist. A few say that they are a new release and have no info on them. So, if anyone is running them, when and where were they purchased? If not the Toyo's, any suggestions on a similar sized 10 ply rated tire? My Rockstar dually wheels are in my shop needing some tires! Thanks Robert

Here are the ones I want to get. They are the Toya Open Country AT's LT285/70R17 126S. Toyo product code is 301480.
Max load is 3750 lbs at 80 PSI. The LT285/70R17 121S are 3195 lbs at 65 PSI with product code 301400.

Go to Toyo's website and at the bottom of the page choose Canada as the country/site you want to go to. The open country A/Ts do come in a 285/75/17. My Dad should have them on his 4x2 next week.

Yes, TCR is 1000% correct. I have 285/75R17 Toyo Open Country A/T tires. they are load rage E and 33.9" diameter. If you don't want a 35", these are the BEST alternative IMO. Not only does the truck look 100 times better now, but it rides smooth and quiet, as well as helped me pick up almost a solid 1 mpg on the highway! If you're in the market for a ~33" tire, I wouldn't buy anything else. All of the 285/70s are nice, but they are 32.8" tall...barely even 33".

My friend just bought some "75's" from Express Tire here in San Diego. They are 33.8"s tall, load range "E" and cost him $824.00 otd for four. He's going to purchase a fifth as his spare is a 325-70-17 Toyo AT.load range "D".

You will not be disappointed....But that is kind of what everyone else said.
Smoother ride and wider stance that fits the spec's of the rim.

Are these a harder compound than the Nitto terra grapplers? I'm looking at getting a new set of AT's soon and I like the size of these but I already had the grapplers and they were garbage.

I have that same tire on my truck now. TOYO OPEN CTRY AT 285/ 75/ R17
Load Range E. Purchased them in March.

Nice and quiet? Yes
Look Great? Yes
Handle Good When Pulling 13k gross Trailer weight? Yes
Good, off and on the road? yes

My only concern is that having put 17k miles on them so far, they seem to wearing faster than they should. I got 60k miles on the factory BFG's rugged trails. truck now has 77k miles. I hope to get 40k miles w/ the TOYOS, but not sure. I will be very dissapointed if I don't.. and I rotate them every 10k miles like i did with the BFG's. It is part of my 10k service interval. The JURY is still out w/ me.......

I'd like to see some pics of you tires. I am wearing out a set of Nittos and want to get the toyos for my 18" Helo's. I talked to a hotshot that runs the toyos and he said they wear excellent and aren't loud.
Thanks
Scott
