HTS has a special going on that includes a suncoast triple converter and a valvebody for $1600.. My tranny has HTS internals, and the SC converter.. The rebuild was done in Cromwell, KY at Westerfields Countryside Transmission. A small shop that gets all the business I can give them. The same trans was in my dually towing heavy and seeing 13.0's at just over 8,000 pounds most every thursday night. Then I swapped it into my daily driver 06 and has been pounded with over 1,000 rwhp at times. Still no leaks, or problems of any sort.. I'm impressed with it.

i really liked dealing with dusty at HTS. i asked a lot of questions and he answered them all not that the others didnt, just the way they did

goerend and HTS are neck and neck in my book for trannies.

Not to hijack, but I'm not too familiar with autos, but since I got one and have decided to keep it I gotta learn I reckon. It seems like all ya'll that upgrade your tranny have the work done at a shop. Is auto rebuild/VB/TC job very hard or require special tools or something? Could it be done at home?

The truck has about 19,500 on it right now and all I've got is a Juice w/ Attitude on it. I'd like to be a little more comfortable with the transmission before I start turning it up past 2. Do I need to go with a TC, VB, shaft, as well as bands? Just trying to figure out my budget dollars . . .

For you just a T/C and V/B w/ the Edge. Some people go overboard (which if you have the coin, more power to you), but if your staying under 450 hp and don't beat the **** out of your truck. V/B and T/C is all someone needs. Stock shafts will hold most part.

Yup, you got a "Super Soul Brother Discount" for sure...

I paid quite a bit more buying from the same place, but it was definitely worth it in my opinion...

They're a good group of guys for sure.

That's what I meant about beating on the truck. Not everyone who installs a tuner/programmer on thier truck races (boost launches), pulls, etc...

Some just like to have extra power for towing, passing power or just get back some down low power lost w/ bigger tires. Don't need a whole billet tranny that holds 700 hp (waste of money). If you go to a good builder they should know all what you need for your driving and hp w/o selling everything to a potential customer.

I also agree Left Coast Diesel is an excellent shop!!
