thanks to both you guys. Where is that harness located? Mines an 04 and I didnt pay attention to what yours was when i was looking at the thread so I hope they are the same.. Does that kill your speedo as well? And finally what kind of wire tap is that and where would I possibly find one?
Thanks again. Nick

I'm not really sure about the 04 fuse box and i will have to get back to you about that.

Yes, my speedo dies, but you still can watch the rpm's climb after you flip the switch.

Any local auto parts store should have those taps. I use them because they are easy. You dont have too though.

Finally, i dont recommend using this in the rain because when you hit the brakes hard the rear tires will lock up and you will go sideways, guaranteed.

I have done the key start trick to reach 126mph gps verified and that was with 35" Toyo's and 3.73's.

Or did you swap out your 3.73's for a taller gear.

Yeah I know the MPH caculators say its possable at lower rpm but the weight of the Cummins flattens our tires out alot which raises our revs.

Ive done alot of testing and your the first person I ever heard of that can do 135mph in a lifted 03 with 305's and a stock turbo
I must have the magical one and only . How far are you from Austin, I'll take you for a little spin. OR I can email you a pic of the gps, but that really proves nothing but the gps went 135mph. Although my egts are through the roof, it's pretty easy for me to do. This week I hope that changes w/ new turbo and intercooler.

The starter only engages in Park or Neautral with an automatic, OR when the clutch is pushed in on a manual transmission..........

135mph....get your gps checked. I've done 122 on 265/70 and 235/80 17 inches at just over 3500rpm (thanks smarty) but normally its around 118mph and your tires are only 5% larger in diameter so 128 is a possibility only if your getting to 3700rpms. 35 inch tires and your close. ks

we put this mod on my 05 this week. Its pretty simple...find a service manual, determine which wire is the ABS wire (on my 05 its dark green and pink) and put a switch in it. My switch is mounted on my overhead console where the sunroof controls would have gone if i had a sunroof.

when the switch is activated, the ABS light and parking brake lights are on. The speedometer does not work. The only limit of speed when this happens is the rev limiter....which can put you at speeds as high as 120+mph.

IT works but make sure you have a programer to erase the code it going to put in the computer or dealer going to be asking why do you have the 0500 code in it. Because it turn the speedo off and the mileage on the truck. So just make sure you erase that code or they might be turning you for not the right mileage on the truck.
