Too much turbo whisle now!

You think stock turbos are loud through a stage 2 intake? you gotta hear this SPS 62,
The whistle from this thing is insane! and it whistles just as much out of the tail pipe,
sound like a flock of canaries when i'm next to a jearsey wall.
I love it, just gotta quit down the exhaust sided.

On my 96' the TAG made the turbo noise tolerable. The turbo noise is cool around town. It gets obnoxious when towing over long distances. I didn't install the TAG for performance benefits. Received none.

I agree that I love the whistle of that turbo. It's fun watching people 100 yards away turn to see what the heck's coming down the road. I felt bad for my wife the first long trip we took but she said it didn't bother her a bit! What a great wife!!

Ok,I forgot to reply the other day after the jake install,I put the ring back in and it cut the whisle in half,much better but to loud for towing on long trips,but to answer some of the others,if you think the tubo is loud with the ring in wait till you take it out.BTW my AFE stage 2 is in the classifieds,so pm me if interested.

its just a 4" 45* elbow, and a band clamp - nothing special
and yes, for a $30 mod, its sound great. Its raspy and loud - moderate drone - not for the faint of heart...but if you think this might sound good, just keep your eyes peeled for my newest exhaust endevor!
