Too much fuel pressure?
I have had a walbro 392 on for a while, and I'm running 27-28 lbs at idle, 21-22 at WOT. Is that too much fuel pressure? Do I need to turn the thing down?
The only time that I've seen less than that is when I was almost out of fuel, and I think that it was sucking a little air. Other than that, it stays above 20.
TIA!!!

it allows the CP3 too regain the pressure in the rail more quickly, only bad part is I think you have too pull the relief valve.....I am not 100% on this one though!!

There is some concern about blowing the plastic lid off the fuel filter housing when you get over 30 PSI. It might be a good idea to get the billet lid from Genos. I did and it's very nice. If you clog the filter the pressure can go WAY up. The best way to prevent that might be another relief that connects the Walbro output line to the return line. This could be set at a pressure higher than the relief at the CP3 but lower than the lid blowing pressure.

i have been running 28 psi now for about 5 or 6 months now and haven't had any problems with it just seems to run better with it turned up since the rail can recover quickly.

The 392 pump kit comes w/ a bypass tuning kit(pressure) There are 2 springs and 3 shims. The heavier spring will increase pressure...with the addition of the shims you make 40psi~.
The bypass valve is mounted on the frame rail near the pump.
Make sure you install the bypass valve the correct way!

For you guys with the OEM in-tank LP, are you experiencing loss of pressure to the CP3 or in the rail at WOT with heavy fueling?
We were expecting some fuel delivery issues with the '05, but so far nothing but good news with everything set on "kill".
