Toggle switches
Simple request - I'm searching for a nice, durable, simple toggle switch to control additional lights on the truck. Obviously I can go to Checker or such but they don't have the nicer looking quality switches that compliment the interior of our Ram trucks.
What have you used, and where did you mount them?
Thank you in advance.

I'm looking for the same thing. I don't want those light-up plastic switches cheapening my truck. I want something classy that will integrate into my MegaCab interior and not stick out like a sore thumb!

I choose this area for my switches and air bag gauges in my 04.5. It works great for me/ forward switch is marker lights, center is bed lights, back switch is for the E brake. Air dumps and compressor switch are in the middle of the air bag gauges.
Hope this helps get the juices flowing,

I googled a couple of places before when looking for switches. These are some I booked. Just google toggle switches for many catalogs online.

Thanks for the links, I'm pretty sure the first link you provided (http://www.action-electronics.com/switches.htm) will become my source for switches from here on out. I like the selection as well as the prices.

As team roper stated you can swing into any of the bigger truck shops and stops and run into a whole bunch of neat stuff. I picked mine up in nebraska on a run with my cousin to deliver some trailers.

Are you looking for lighted toggles, metal toggles with seperate pilot lights or just plain switches?
Check out my pics for a great place/way to mount 4 switches if you've got a 4WD 6-speed....

How many switches are you guys looking for?
Also how do you want them to turn on?
I have a couple of ideas that could be sort of cool, but they are not really toggle switches.
I guess I need to get a better idea of what we you are looking for exactly.

I'm looking for a couple switches to control off-road lights. Actually, I thought your rotary switch for boxes would make a cool light switch for 2 pairs of lights. I'd make it work like this:
Pos.tion 1: All lights off
Psition 2: Inside pair only on
Position 3: Outside pair only on
Position 4: Both pairs on
I just thought it would be a little more tidy than multiple switches.

I honestly don't have a full plan as of yet. I'm going to add lights for the front as well as for the rear, but I do not know where, how large, etc. Therefore I don't know how many switches I'll want or need.

I like the location and way you mounted those switches. That location had entered into my mind but I didn't spend too much time on it. Glad to see someone else went through and put it into action.
