I'm gonna go take a picture of the overhead for ya. Its off by about 1-1.2.

My highway speeds are about 76mph average confirmed by GPS also. My odometer is set to my exact tire size and is right on thanks to smarty.

Ah, gotta wait for it to be approved.

Here are some off another site.

Now, I don't think dodge has ever made an accurate overhead reading, but I know from hand calculating mine in the past that's its off by about +1 to +1.2 on average. My most recent tank was +24mpg with several real hard pulls testing the new head gasket.

The 40's are big and heavy, but my RPM's are only 1800 on average going down the highway at 70mph+. Once my truck gets to 2000rpm, it really drinks the fuel though.

Remember I and drving 95% of the freeway and with stage 1 sticks. I think 24.5 is accurate, but I will get the exact numbers, try it again and barrow someone elses fingers too and post the numbers.

I told you guys, I know its over by about 1 to 1.2. The mileage is real and I'm loving it. I only average 18-20 when I run 35" tires because my rpms are alot higher.

Yeah, that's exactly how I thought mine always was. Checked it several times and it was consistently 1 - 1.5mpg off. A few months later I hand calc'd a tank on the freeway and it was 18mpg while the overhead said 22mpg.

Overhead numbers are useless...unless you happen to have a Ford/Chevy guy in the truck with you.

All hand calc for me- 14 MPG in town- 55 mph, lots of stoplights. 18 MPG highway. Almost the exact same as my PMT on Crazy Larry.
Edge on 2

Smarty on 7; RPM off; pressure 2; Shift off; wastegate off

My overhead is off by as much as 10 mph now...depends on what tune and how I am driving...

18.2 overhead for the last weekend 1500 mile trip to Vegas and back...

12.99 hand calc. Drove 95... ;-)

My truck is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY to boring at 75 or 80 in the "Great Basin" highway.

the 3 tanks that netted me 18.99 hand calc, my overhead read 28.9....

Beta 4.2 still gets me the best mileage, 22-23 hand calc, and 31.6 overhead.

BTW, We just kicked over tooo summer fuel here so I am guessing the TNT/R would get me into the 20's.

I wish i got somewhere near yall's mileage. When i tow my bass boat i only get around 10 or 11, and when i don't tow i get only around 16. Is that normal? Thats with the smarty on mod. torque management sw9.

With the lift and tires you are running, that seems perfectly normal fuel mileage.
