TNT/R report on mileage.....

I was completely floored to say the least. To give you an idea... I filled my truck up about 80 miles from my house. Drive home and left for the TS event the next day which was a 400 mile drive.

I got to Bowling Green with a 1/4 tank left in the truck. Drove around BG and to the open house. From there back to the hotel 10 miles away and to the track the next day. I made 5 runs and was finally about to E.

I can't say exactly because I didn't keep track but, I'd say I got at least 600 miles to the one tank of fuel ! For my truck... the way it's built and with the size injectors I have, that is amazing !!

It takes me 2 hours to get out of the mountains and the roads are up hill and snake roads which can be a problem with mileage. Didn't seem to be a problem this time though.

TNT/R settings....

RPM - off
Shift limit - off
Torque - #2
Timing - #3
Rail Pressure - #2
Wategate - off
program - #6

This was to try and get good mileage. The settings were all changed to kill at the track.

I think even with timing turned down there's still too much for my truck but, I've had a rattle for ever so it didn't bother me much.

Thanks Marco and Bob for the help at the pump !!!

I wish I was reporting the same, since the addition of the stg3 floor it pump, 3.3's and tnt/nonr my mileage has dropped a couple. I mean tryin on the hyway and I git like 18 or less. I wouldnt go back but I am suprised by what I noticed. I suppose I should turn the tnt down and see what gains are to be had. I think im on 7 now.

that's unfortunate. You should keep trying though. I talked to several other guys running the TNT/R that drove from TX, FL and MS that found the same results.... excellent mileage.

As you know all the trucks act differently so maybe playing with the settings will help ???

Oh it was no complaint by any streatch of the imagination but I was just reporting mine went down as compared to the edge or smarty 4.4 and stock cp3, and inj. I think that is super impressive considering it makes great power.
I think there is more in it mileage wise but I just cant seem to adjust the smarty below 7

I think I did the math right and it was close to my overhead numbers. 95% freeway driving I am getting about 24.5 mpg. That is with a 6 inch lift and 35's and the occasional air conditioning blast. Tire size corrected with Smarty on number SW7 and doing 75-80mph. It is amazing.

Before my G56 let go, I was getting 24mpg hand calcd on 40's with the TNT-R and 80% hwy. I was really hoping to break 25 on the next tank, but my tranny broke instead. The 40's help by lowering my rpm's on the hwy.

I'll refill the tank after I get the tranny fixed and try again for 25.

OK, come on...24mpg with 40's ??? Are we REALLY sure that's right? We're talking 40's here. What speed is "highway" driving? That's just really hard to believe.

can speak for Unruly but, I'm on 37's and averaged 80mph on my trip. That includes blowin' smoke at bad drivers and the occasional passing speed !

I just figured out the mileage I got and it was 21mpg. My motor is far from stock which is the surprise to me... not so much the 37's.
