There is no way all of those people have the rattle...

I personally do not know of one...

It just seems like a few of these options are being "abused"...

But hey...choices are choices.

No my clutch doesnt slip the way I drive. I'm just saying my truck is far far away from lighting the tires up in 4th at 50mph like some guys have reported.
Oh I lit up the tires from a 50mph roll to but in 5th! Nevermind the fact it was raining......

If I would have tried that in 4th(prob 2500rpm) it would have just drained my rail instantly even with the pressure box on. If my trucks over 2200-2300rpm in gears 1-5 theres no point in trying I just get the "pop". How ever if I roll into it at 1900 she runs great up to redline.
Thats at
Catcher 9 and default settings.

And before I get flamed I have the fuel system etc

Hey, I never complained or said that I had the rattle (except for the injector problem)

I had to use the lower timing to eliminate the "popping"...

I like the benefits of the timing (as long as it is not too much) and never got the timing rattle... right now the truck idles smooth as glass...

I am running the 4.2 program with a ts preasure box turbo spools ok and it rains out the coal. I have been reading all of the replys and not sure if the tnt will be noticible difference on my truck or not if it would be what settings should I run and also should I leave the preasure box off??? my rail preasure is in check still so that is good. some insite would be great. I guess looking to get the most power out of it, dont care about milage..

You're just gonna have to try it out and see. It may work well for you.

You will be fine. I tried the TNT, didn't find it what i wanted, and returned to the beta 4.4. All went well.

To stop the "popping", my truck sounded like a gasser back firing and would stumble every time it happened. It was not a timing rattle I was trying to stop, it was the one huge pop I would get that I would not live with.

Justin, If you have the 04 305/555, you might want to stick w/ the 4.2 until some of the bugs get worked out of the TNT. There's a few trucks that love the 4.2/4.3 but don't seem to function correctly w/ the TNT, mine is one of them.

Mine doesn't seem to like it either. Hey tcr, i assume you have tried the 4.4 also. With my mods, would you suggest 4.2 or 4.3?

4.2 nets me the most power, the best milage, and is very drivable w/ my tranny. Believe it or not I leave it on level 1 and turn up the quad's pressure for a race, closed course race that is!

Thanks man, I think I'm gonna request the 4.2 from Bob. What are the power levels on the 4.2? Does it do a 30hp-170hp layout or is it more extreme? I am liking the 4.4 on sw5, so maybe I will stick to that to see the differences.

Rick,
4.2 for the most part is just like 4.4 except with less TM... touchier throttle, less linear.
