TNT observations on 03-04 trucks

You have a point; I do have a heavily (not like Lloyd's of course) modded truck. When I wasn't so "modded" beta files worked like a dream. The TNT does require more. Do folks suddenly forget times when Beta files were enough to drain a rail? There is no magic fairy dust to sprinkle and get 10,000 HP with only 500* degree egts on stock stix and fueling and it will never hurt a stock tranny-- blah, blah, blah... To take full advantage of TNT, mods are required.

i can just about gaurentee that most people with poping are having rail drain.
with my 90hp stix i was able to run #5 with an ocational pop if i snaped the throttle, now with the 120's in there i get poping on #3 unless i roll into it.
im told my cp3 will be here soon.... then we go to town!
hopefully ill be able to do alot of back to back comparisons for all of you.... 4.4, revo, tnt, and tnt-r!

What bugs???? YEP! That sums it up. I do really think most people's pop is from a drained rail or a really rare timing issue...due to the "sum of the mods" on that particular truck. I have run every single Smarty SW I could since the beginning...and have only had on minor blip...that I think was an error due to a download process.
TNT takes fuel.

Once I get my truck back from loaning it to a customer (on stock of course) I will load up the TNT and get back on the dyno. Stock sticks and modfied cp3/Fass only for fueling. I will see if I can get it to act up on the dyno.

Keep in mind fellas the issue I have is not a "pop" due to a draining rail, well actually I can get that to occur(down low) as well but I have to add pressure from the X2. My issue is a possible GPS/TPS/Smarty TNT tuning issue not allowing my transmission to operate properly on ANY level 1-9(my tranny builder has seen this w/a few BDDLs). Keep this in mind when you make your blanket statements that we just don't have enough mods or the TNT only works with highly modded trucks and there are NO ISSUES. If I remember correctly this thread is titled "TNT observations on 03-04 trucks" not "Are there any issues w/ TNT".

I am not making nay claim as absolute as you...
You are one of the VERY FEW know people that have issues...yet post about it like its a norm. I am one of the many people that have great success...and post about it like I am one of the many.
What was your build date?
I bet there is something else going on. Have you replaced your TPS?
I feel for you...but I am not going to agree with the "TNT has bugs" statement.

Yeah we changed TPS and GPS as a shot in the dark, we also changed some springs that I have no idea what they do, with no change. I'm certainly not stating the TNT has a bunch of bugs, I just don't want to be lumped into the group that doesn't understand the characteristics of their rail being drained and says their truck won't run w/ the TNT, that's all.
