TNT non R fuel economy

Just topped off the tank. Level 7, TM 2, Timing 2 and RP 2. 16.6mpg for nothing but urban driving. And some of that was lead footed.
Amazing since was I only getting around 17mpg with the 3.12 (4.11) on level 7 under the same driving conditions.

Down to level 5 now since I'll be doing some towing next week.

Seems about right since you are 2WD. Best I have seen with 4.11 for all urban driving with a 4x4 is 16.0mpg. I am curious if you plan on running Timing 4 since it advances the timing even more for fuel economy. I tried it today and didn't notice any unusual rattle, but a definite gain in HP, responsiveness, and less boost at cruising speeds.

With TQ2 RP2 and Time4, very light throttle acceleration seems effortless. I can't see why I wouldn't gain mileage with the new REVO. Looks like I may not be going back to 4.11 just yet.

Rallydriver,
The TNT has a different timing matrix than the Revo. #4 on the TNT is less than #3 and is for the drug users. So that's why I'm using #2.

Just looking at the REVO TNT pdf, I can see it now. I am still trying to find someone running Time4 on the regular REVO to see if they are getting any rattle.

I had definite timing rattle using REVO (non-TNT) on TIMING=4. Not too bad on 3, but I definitely could hear it on #4. In fact, I switched back to TIMING=2 this afternoon before I found out the TNT was available.

Hey, I have the stuff in my sig and was getting 17.5 mpg city driving with a bent rear driveshaft, got a custom shaft made and the next tank was 19 city driving, no lie, hand calculated. That is on 4.11 SW7. Jay
