Surfram, the items contained in the Snowplow Pkg. are a 1600 amp alt, 750 amp battery and a transfer case skid plate. Apparently, from what my salesman told me, there is not a spring upgrade or axle upgrade. And just for the record, I was not considering ordering the Snowplow Pkg for Dallas, Texas! I asked him for clarification so I could pass it along to you. 
One thing he was uncertain of was whether the Off Road Package adds any height to a 2500/3500 Ram. We came to the conclusion that it only adds height to a 1/2 ton.
